TEXTURE MEDIUM

Mix Texture Medium with Americana Premium Acrylics or use it alone to add dimensional texture to your artwork. Made from fine grinds of powder, this medium is perfect for adding more body to acrylic paint. This opaque medium is made from about 50% solids and provides excellent tooth when painting on top of it. Texture Medium is also compatible with all of the other mediums in the line so the possibilities are endless.

MATTE MEDIUM

Add Matte Medium to Americana Premium Acrylics to create a matte finish, extend color, increase transparency, and enhance color blending. Can also be used as a clear coat for a matte finish and to create custom glazes. It is water-based and fast drying.

GLOSS MEDIUM

Add Gloss Medium to Americana Premium Acrylics to create a gloss finish, extend color, increase transparency, and enhance color blending. Can also be used as a clear coat for a gloss finish and to create custom glazes. It is water-based and fast drying.

HEAVY GEL MEDIUM

Add Heavy Gel Medium to Americana Premium Acrylics to create an extra thick viscosity that is ideal for impasto techniques and will allow you to build textures. It can be tinted with Americana Premium Acrylics and will hold peaks. Heavy Gel Medium can also be used alone and then painted with Americana Premium Acrylics. It dries to a hard, transparent finish.

EXTENDER MEDIUM

Add Extender Medium to slow the drying time of Americana Premium Acrylics and to aid in color blending. It can also be added to the other mediums in the line to extend open/working time. Extender Medium also allows you to perform oil techniques using acrylic paint when mixed at a higher ratio.

GESSO

A highly pigmented gesso that is a smooth and flexible primer and texture-builder, providing superior, one-coat coverage to most surfaces. It can be tinted with Americana Premium Acrylics.
